House description:
Log home with isolated inner walls. The house is designed by Johan Hammarström with inspiration from a Norweigan log home. It is built on a concrete foundation with built in floor heating. Every part of the house is hand made which makes it very genuine and robust. All material are natural material and the stairway is built by a 600 kg tree trunk! The house consists of many small bedrooms and two larger rooms for common activities. Rooms: 5 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 2 bath rooms, 1 laundry room. Hangarunder construction that is 12 * 15,5 meter with a garage entry from the back side and a big inside sliding door (not installed yet). Hangar is built to fit all kind of GA planes such as DA42, PA46 and of course our lovely Rallye! 🙂
We use the house as a recreational house – as a get a away from a much more hectic Stockholm and much more open landscapes than our apartment in the Old Town of Stockholm. We love to be at the airpark because of the nature, nice neighbours and feeling of freedom of having the airplane parked outside and be able to travel wherever we want and whenever we want. In Stockholm we are based in Stockholm/Bromma and fly to Siljan AirPark in about 1h20 min.
